Our Rooms
Gwembe Castle offers 4 beautifully appointed Self-catering Apartments, namely the Tower, East Wing, Dungeon and McGregor room. The Apartments are all self-contained and air conditioned each with a Lounge, Dining room and Kitchen. All the Apartments offer Satellite TV and Wi-Fi, and look out into a lush garden with a private swimming pool.
THE TOWER
The Tower is the largest of the four and can accommodate up to 3 people. It has a private roof deck which has been equipped with an outdoor tub which makes it a pleasant place to spend the evenings. It has three levels with an en-suite slipper bath and toilet in the luxuriously furnished bedroom complete with a four poster queen sized bed. A shower and toilet are also located on the ground floor adjacent to the kitchen and dining area. The Lounge has been very comfortably furnished and also has a sleeper couch which can accommodate 1 extra person if required.

The East Wing
The East Wing is located on the ground floor and offers a large open plan Lounge, Dining area and Kitchen. It is able to accommodate a maximum of 5 people. The main bedroom has a double bed with an en-suite bath, shower and toilet. Three sleeper couches are located in the main lounge and can be used to accommodate other family members. The lounge is open plan and features a Tv viewing area, dining area and kitchen area.

The Dungeon
The Dungeon is the smallest of the 4 Apartments and is also located on the ground floor. It is a bedsitter and is very tastefully furnished. A small Kitchenette, shower and toilet are adjacent to the bedroom and Lounge area. This room sleeps a maximum of two people sharing a double bed.

Gwembe Holiday Homes
The Gwembe Vacation homes are situated only 3 Km from the centre of Livingstone within a gated property bordering the Mosi-O-Tunya National Park. This means the homes are frequently visited by wildlife do to their proximity to natural bush. They are also within easy walking distance of Gwembe Castle and the Livingstone Reptile Park.
Each detached home can accommodate up to 4 people in two bedrooms with their own kitchen and lounge. There is security fencing around each home with an electric fence on the top to keep elephants out of the gardens. A covered carport provides secure parking for self-drive clients. Furnishings are minimal but comfortable and both homes have air conditioning in some of the rooms. This is the ideal option for families on a budget.
